the small print
privacy
Mathpet is a small, independently operated home-assistant project.
Accounts
If you log in, Mathpet receives a stable account identifier and the name, username, and email address supplied by its identity service. Mathpet keeps those basic details in a signed, secure browser session cookie. OAuth access and identity tokens are not retained in that cookie. The identity service separately processes login activity to authenticate and protect accounts.
What this site records
This site uses self-hosted Matomo analytics to understand visits and improve the site. Matomo may process an IP address or approximate location, browser and device details, referring and visited pages, visit times, and first-party analytics cookies. The web server may also keep routine technical request logs for reliability and security.
How it is used
This information stays on locally managed infrastructure and is used to operate and improve Mathpet. It is not sold or used for targeted advertising. It is retained only while useful for those purposes.
Environmental data
Mathpet uses Google Maps Platform Weather, Air Quality, and Pollen services for Arlington conditions. These requests use Mathpet’s configured location, not a visitor’s location. Use of this data is subject to the Google Maps terms and the Google Privacy Policy.
Your choice
You can opt out of Matomo analytics below. Browser privacy controls and content blockers may also prevent analytics requests.
The analytics preference control was blocked or could not load. You can still opt out by enabling your browser’s tracking protection or a content blocker for this site.
